Full membership of the Mingenew-Irwin Group is only available to landholders in the Mingenew and Irwin Shires and landholders within 50 km of the Mingenew townsite. MIG Heads for South America
The MIG Study Tour of South America heads off on 26 January for 31 days of jam-packed adventure visiting Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia and Peru.  Follow the group's movements on MIG's Facebook page.

New Staff at MIG
Three new staff members have joined the MIG team in 2011-2012.

Aimee Bensdorp, a Mingenew local, has come on board to provide administrative support one day a week (Wednesdays).  Aimee can be contacted on (08) 9928 1645 or admin@mig.org.au.

Casey Palmer hails from Dongara and is working on the delivery of the NACC incentives.  Casey works half time with MIG (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and half of Thursday).  Casey can be contacted on 9928 1646, 0427 281 001 or casey@mig.org.au.

Zoe Campbell, a Mingenew local, is working on the DAFWA/GRDC Focus Paddock Project.  Zoe's work is periodic, revolving around four sets of visits per year to the FPP sites.  Zoe can be contacted via (08) 9928 1645.

MIG AGM & Crop Updates/Trials Reivew

The highlight of MIG's event's calendar is the  MIG's Crop Updates and Review of the 2011 Trials Program.  Be entertained by the "Prince of Flesh", Vince Gareffa, who will be carving up a lamb and tantilising your tastebuds in between the trial review and crop update sessions.
