Membership Full membership of the Mingenew-Irwin Group is only available to landholders in the Mingenew and Irwin Shires and landholders within 50 km of the Mingenew townsite. However, an Associate Membership can still keep you in the loop with access to research results, invites to major events and first priority for external opportunities. |

MIG Awarded AAB Grain Community Fund MIG has received funding from AAB Grain to "Enhance the R&D capacity and skills of MIG members". MIG has been able to purchase electronic scales, a weather station and projector screen. Thanks to AAB Grain!
Congratulations! To Chris Gillam who has recently been re-elected onto the NACC board.
And...well done MIG on being awarded a "High Commendation" from the judges of this year's West Australian Landcare Awards. MIG narrowly missed out on being short listed as a finalist for their efforts in the Healthy Farms program.
Main Trial Sites 2009 The Sand Plain site is on Chris and Jill Foster's property, off Allanooka Springs Rd (near Tabletop Rd). This site will host the MIG Spring Field Day on September 3. The Heavy Land site is north of the region at Wongundy hosted by John, Val, Steve and Janelle Rowe. |
