The Environmental Division is responsible for directing the Environmental Officer on projects and issues regarding the environment.  The group meets bimonthly to review the progress of current projects, discuss new potential projects and any new information or legislation that could affect members of the MIG.

The division addresses the common environmental threats that face farmers in the Mingenew Irwin region which include salinity, wind erosion, water erosion, gully erosion, loss of biodiversity and remnant vegetation, and safe chemical use.

The Environmental Division consists of farmers across the Mingenew-Irwin Region that are facing a variety of environmental issues and includes:
